About Anne Jeffery
I am a Registered General Nurse, Health Visitor and coach who has worked within the NHS for more than 40 years, including fourteen years as a senior manager within the acute hospital setting.
Latterly, I have been working in the coaching and development arena. My experience has been within the private and public sector where I have worked as a coach and a trainer, with individual clients and as a trainer for the National Childbirth Trust. I still currently work part-time within the NHS as a Quality Improvement Practitioner which involves training and mentoring as well as some aspects of coaching.
As a nurse of many years in the acute hospital and community setting I know only too well the many challenges and tensions facing practitioners in today’s NHS. My experience has not only enabled me to understand the challenges of corporate life, but also to appreciate the challenges that working women face within such demanding environments.
Combining my nursing background with my training experience and intuitive understanding of people, I have unique insight and experience of the self-development arena and experience of working within the NHS.
My coaching style is one of support and challenge focused on outcomes. I work in partnership to explore and understand the real challenges and the real obstacles that stand in the way. I empower my clients to find their own solutions and am able to offer suggested solutions when required. I instil self-belief and motivation in my clients and encourage sustainable change and development.
I hope to meet you soon.
